New York Book Editors

NYBE needed a new lead-generating website for their Author-Editor connection service. I designed and developed a very flexible WordPress based website for them, which allows them to rearrange pages easily, and test what works best for their lead generation.

Start UK

Start UK, an organisation who promote sustainable living in the UK, needed a new WordPress theme. Their goals were simple: easy to use, engaging, and vibrant.

There’s a lot of information on this site, and we needed to spend some time figuring out the best way of organising this to make it easy to find. We introduced themes alongside categories (so users can filter categories by theme, or view all the posts in certain themes), and the ability for special campaigns to run on the homepage.

Essie Button

Blogger & Youtuber Estée needed a brand new theme for her popular beauty blog, Essie Button. We started working together to bring her fun & vibrant site to life!

Estée consulted with an illustrator who provided us with  illustrations to use on the design, and a logo form that we could incorporate into the banner. I used the illustrations as a starting point for the new theme design.

Custom Elements: Featured post slider in the header and sidebar, “Shop my faves” widget, custom category list widget, fully responsive theme.

J for Jen

Fellow Yorkshire lass, Jen, came to me during her brand refresh. After outgrowing her popular blog, A Little Bird Told Me,  Jen was ready to make the jump to self-hosted WordPress with her new grown-up brand, J for Jen.

With a brand and logo already in place, I designed a website around Jen’s business and blog, creating a website that allows her to promote her social media & copywriting business and continue to write her lifestyle blog.

The result is an attractive, streamlined site that showcases Jen’s work, generates client leads, and makes the most of her fabulous photography.
